All teachers and staff members who can log into your website's CMS admin panel can create and send Newsletters.
đĄ How Teachers Get Recipient Lists: Teachers do not need administrators to manually build or import email contact lists for them. When parents subscribe to a teacher's personal page or classes on the public website, their emails automatically create and populate a dedicated Contact List for that teacher. Teachers can immediately select their subscriber list as recipients when composing class newsletters!
Who can access Newsletters?
â All user accounts marked as School Staff (Other Employees, School Administrators, and Teachers) can access Newsletters.
â Website Administrators can send newsletters from their own email address or from the organization's official email address.
đ« Other user types and accounts without staff designations can NOT access Newsletters.
Who will recipients see as the sender?
Newsletters sent by teachers and staff will display their personal name and email address as configured in their user Profile settings.
Website Administrators have the additional ability to send newsletters from your school or district's organizational email address. Admins configure this shared address in Manage Setup. When composing a newsletter, administrators can choose whether the email originates from their personal staff email or the school's general address.
Can website administrators view staff newsletters?
Yes. Website administrators have full oversight and can search, view, and inspect all newsletters sent through the Edlio CMS Newsletters tool by any teacher or staff member.
Administrator oversight applies specifically to emails sent through the CMS Newsletters tool. It does not monitor external emails sent through third-party services (like Gmail or Outlook).
