Newsfeed Push Notifications / My Categories (Edlio Mobile App): When teachers publish class news or updates in the Edlio Mobile App, parents and students subscribed to that teacher's category receive instant push alerts and newsfeed updates directly on their phones.
Conversations (Edlio Mobile App — Two-Way Messaging): Secure, direct two-way messaging between teachers, staff, parents, and students within the mobile app, with read receipts, automatic translation, and moderation controls.
Mass Communication (App/Standalone): If your school or district licenses Edlio Mass Communication, administrators can grant teachers permission to dispatch direct multi-channel messages (Email, Voice, and SMS Text) directly to their Classrooms and authorized Groups.

Whenever you publish or update a post, your content appears immediately on your public personal page and is automatically queued for your subscribers' daily email digest.
What Are Posts?
Unlike static page content blocks (such as a teacher bio or supply checklist), Posts function like an ongoing classroom announcement feed. Posts are ideal for:
Classroom updates and reminders: Upcoming test dates, homework reminders, and field trip notices.
Resource sharing: Educational links, reading lists, study guides, and downloadable PDF worksheets.
Visual recaps: Photos of classroom projects, science experiments, or student achievements.
Video embeds: Recorded classroom lessons, video presentations, or welcome greetings.
How Posts Connect to Automated Email Subscriptions
Posts work hand-in-hand with Edlio's passive subscription system. When parents or students click + Subscribe on your personal page, they are registered to receive your updates:
Automated 5:30 PM daily digest: Edlio's notification server scans for newly published or updated posts every school day at 5:30 PM local school time.
Zero manual sending: You do not need to compose an email, choose recipient lists, or click "Send." Simply publish your post in the CMS, and the system handles email distribution automatically.
Combined schoolwide digest: If a parent subscribes to multiple teachers and classrooms across the school, the system compiles all updates into a single, clean email digest rather than sending separate messages.
Quiet day rules: If you do not publish any new posts during the day, no email digest is sent to your subscribers.

Navigation: Access Posts directly from your CMS dashboard or via the hamburger navigation menu.
Content Types: Choose from five dedicated content types—Text, Link, Photo, File, or Video.
Public Display: Visitors see your posts in reverse chronological order (newest first) under the "Recent Posts" section on your live teacher page.
