The Newsletter Setup feature allows you to configure how your information appears in outgoing newsletters sent through Edlio's platform. Changes made in this section will only affect future newsletters and cannot modify previously sent communications.
Accessing Newsletter Setup
Navigate to the Newsletters section
Select Manage Setup in the top right corner
Personal Newsletter Settings
All users can modify their personal newsletter settings to control how their information appears when sending newsletters.
From Name
This setting determines how your name is displayed to newsletter recipients.
Important notes:
Changes made here only affect newsletters sent through Edlio's platform
Your name in the Staff Directory and website profile remains unchanged
This does not modify your name in external email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook)
From Email Address
This is the email address that appears as the sender of your newsletters. To change your email address, you must update it in your Profile settings, which will also update your email in the Staff Directory and website.
Header Photo
The photo that appears in newsletter headers is your profile photo. To change this image, update your photo in Profile settings. This change will also update your photo in the Staff Directory and Personal Pages on the website.
Remember to click Save when finished making changes.
School/District Newsletter Settings
This section is available to website administrators only.
Website administrators have the ability to send newsletters from either their personal school email address or the School or District's email address.
School or District Information
In the Manage Setup school tab, you can review and edit your School or District's newsletter settings. When sending newsletters on behalf of the organization, select the organization email as the "Send From" address.
Both the organization's From Name and From Email Address can be edited in this section.
School or District Header Photo
When sending newsletters from the organization, the header image used is the same image displayed on the Edlio admin login screen. This image can only be changed by the Edlio support team. If you need to update the organization image, please have your new image ready and submit a support ticket.
Important: All website administrators share the same organization newsletter settings. Changes made to organization information will be visible and accessible to all administrators on your website.
Remember to click Save when finished making changes.
