đ Feature Availability Notice â Enabled on a site-by-site basis: The Data Lists feature is an advanced structured data and directory management tool enabled on a site-by-site basis. If you do not see Page Management > Data Lists in your CMS admin navigation or the Data List option in your Add Page Block menu, reach out to Edlio Technical Support or your Client Success Manager (email [email protected]) to discuss turning this feature on for your school or district.
đ Feature Activation Requirement: The permissions and account capabilities detailed in this guide apply only after your district or school has activated the Data Lists feature. Because Data Lists is provisioned on a site-by-site basis, standard administrator accounts will not see Data List navigation or block controls until the module is enabled. To request activation or verify your site's licensing status, contact Edlio Technical Support or email Client Success at [email protected].
Access to the Data Lists feature and Data List page blocks is governed by user account roles in the Edlio CMS.
đĄ Best-Practice Adoption Tips for Administrative Governance
District-Level Ownership: Assign Super Administrators or designated Website Administrators as the primary owners of master data lists (such as district-wide staff directories or vendor catalogs) to maintain data consistency across schools.
Delegated Page Placement: Website Administrators can embed Data List blocks onto departmental pages managed by teachers or standard users without granting them full write permissions to the underlying database.
Super Administrators & Website Administrators
Super Administrators and Website Administrators have full access to:
Access the Data Lists feature under Page Management.
Create new data lists manually or via CSV upload.
Manage, edit, reorder, and delete columns and records across all lists.
Add, configure, and remove Data List page blocks on any website page.
Perform full CSV replacements to bulk update existing lists.
Standard Users
Standard users (such as teachers, coaches, and club advisers) cannot access the standalone Data Lists feature under Page Management.
If a standard user has edit access to a specific page that already contains a Data List page block:
They can view the Data List block within the page layout.
They can drag and drop the block to reorder its position relative to other blocks on that page.
They cannot add new Data List blocks, delete existing Data List blocks, or edit the underlying data records within the list.
