đ Feature Availability Notice â Enabled on a site-by-site basis: The Data Lists feature is an advanced structured data and directory management tool enabled on a site-by-site basis. If you do not see Page Management > Data Lists in your CMS admin navigation or the Data List option in your Add Page Block menu, reach out to Edlio Technical Support or your Client Success Manager (email [email protected]) to discuss turning this feature on for your school or district.
Data Lists provides a flexible, powerful way to display structured tabular and directory data on your website. Public website visitors can search, filter, and sort records directly on the page to quickly find the exact information they need.
Management of the data list itself is completely separate from its presentation on the website. This architecture allows the same centralized data list (such as a district staff roster, scholarship catalog, athletic schedule, or vendor directory) to be embedded across multiple pages while being maintained in one single administrative location.
đĄ Best-Practice Adoption Tips for School Communities
Centralized Maintenance: Build high-frequency directories (like Community Scholarships, Approved Tutors, or Athletic Schedules) once in Data Lists, then embed them on both the district homepage and respective high school department pages.
Consistent Formatting: Maintain standardized column naming (e.g. Name, Department, Email, Office Hours) so visitors experience a predictable search interface across your district.
Mobile Responsiveness: On smaller smartphone screens, Data List tables gracefully adapt into stacked, easily scrollable cards for quick viewing.
Data lists are created and managed in the Data Lists feature under Page Management > Data Lists. You must create and publish a data list there first before it can be added to any page via the Data List page block.
