What are Personal Pages?

Personal Pages are individual web pages that each staff member can create and customize within your school's website. When visitors click on a staff member's name in the public staff directory, they'll be automatically directed to that person's Personal Pages.

The Home Page - Your First Personal Page

Every staff member's Personal Pages section begins with a main page, which serves as their homepage. While you can give this page any title you prefer, most users simply call it "Home."

This first page has special features that make it different from other pages you might create. The system automatically displays additional content on the public version of this page, creating a comprehensive overview of what you're sharing with your school community.

What Appears on Your Personal Page

Your main Personal Page automatically displays several key elements:

Introduction Section This area is perfect for sharing a brief biography about yourself or posting a welcome message for your students and their families. Use this space to introduce yourself and set the tone for your page.

Your Classes The system will automatically display information about the classes you teach, making it easy for students and parents to find relevant course information.

Posts Any posts or announcements you create will be featured on your page, keeping your audience updated with the latest information.

Profile Photo and Information Your profile picture and any additional information you've added to your staff profile will be prominently displayed.

Subscribe Button Visitors can subscribe to receive updates from your page. When someone subscribes, their contact information is automatically stored in your Contact List Management system, making it easy to communicate with interested families.

Navigation Menu A complete list of all your personal pages appears in the section menu, allowing visitors to easily navigate between different pages you've created.

Getting Started

To begin setting up your Personal Pages:

  1. Log into your content management platform

  2. Navigate to your Personal Pages section

  3. Start by customizing your main page with an introduction and any relevant information

  4. Add additional pages as needed for specific topics, classes, or resources

Your Personal Pages serve as your professional presence within the school website, helping you connect with students, parents, and the broader school community in a meaningful way.
