Key Features

Adding and Updating Dropdown Items

You can easily add new pages or sections to your website's navigation menus. Whether you need to add information about a new program, update contact details, or create links to important documents, the Site Navigation tool makes these changes simple.

When updating existing items, you can modify the link text, change where the link points, or update the description that appears in the dropdown.

Changing Item Order

The order of items in your dropdown menus matters for user experience. Site Navigation allows you to drag and drop menu items to arrange them in the most logical order for your school community. Consider placing the most frequently accessed information at the top of each dropdown.

Mega Menus

For schools with extensive content, Mega Menus provide an advanced navigation option. These expanded dropdown menus can display multiple columns of links, images, and descriptions, making it easier for visitors to find specific information quickly.

Best Practices

Keep it organized: Group related items together in logical categories.

Use clear labels: Make sure menu item names are descriptive and easy to understand.

Think like your audience: Arrange navigation from the perspective of parents, students, and community members who visit your site.

Regular maintenance: Review and update your navigation periodically to ensure all links work and information remains current.
