News categories help organize your school's news content, making it easier for visitors to find relevant information. Only administrators have access to manage news categories.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigate to Site Management
Go to Site Management > Settings from your main dashboard.
Step 2: Access News Settings
Click on the News tab in the settings menu.
Step 3: Add New Category
Click the Add News Category button.
Step 4: Configure Your Category
Set the order: Choose where this category should appear in your news category list
Add a title: Enter a clear, descriptive name for your news category
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Click Save to create your new news category.
Important Reminder
Always remember to save after adding each category. Your changes will not be preserved unless you click the Save button.
