Edlio provides powerful, flexible form solutions tailored for school communication and data collection. To ensure optimal adoption and administration, it is important to understand the two distinct form environments across the platform:
CMS Website Forms (edlioadmin.com): Public-facing web forms created and managed within the Edlio Website CMS under Forms. These forms are embedded directly onto school web pages, sections, or shared via web links to collect permission slips, enrollment inquiries, absence notifications, and online fee payments from anyone browsing your website.
Edlio Mobile App Forms (edlioapp.com): Native app forms configured in the Mobile App Admin console under Features > Forms. These forms are delivered natively to users inside the school mobile app, support role-specific descriptions (e.g. customized instructions for Students vs. Parents), and allow granular audience restriction via Secured Access.
đĄ Form Surface Architecture: If you need to collect public submissions or process online payments on your website, use CMS Website Forms. If you want in-app submissions gated to logged-in mobile parents, students, or staff with direct push alerts, use Edlio Mobile App Forms.
CMS Website Forms Manager
In your CMS administrative portal, navigate to Forms in the main navigation menu (or click Forms on your dashboard). The manager dashboard gives website administrators complete oversight of all active and past web forms.
From the CMS Forms Manager, administrators can perform the following key actions:
+ New Form: Launch the template selector to create standard surveys, signups, and permission slips.
+ New Payment Form: Create a form configured with payment processing fields to collect fees, dues, or donations.
$ Payment Reports: Access real-time financial summaries and reconciliation reports for collected funds.
View Deleted Forms: Restore archived forms or permanently deleted entries.
Form Status & Responses: Monitor live submission counts and toggle form status between Open and Closed.
đĄ Best-Practice Adoption Tip: Before creating a form from scratch, explore Edlio's pre-built template library. Choosing a purpose-built template like Absence Reporting or Field Trip Permission automatically populates required student information fields and standardizes data collection across all school departments.
