Find your personal page on public website

Updated over 2 months ago

Personal pages allow staff members to share information about themselves with the school community. There are three simple ways to view these pages depending on where you're starting from.

Method 1: From the Page Editor

If you're already editing a page in the admin area:

  1. Locate the link icon next to the page name at the top of the editor

  2. Hover over the link icon - a preview of the web address will appear

  3. Copy the link that appears

  4. Open a new browser window and paste the copied link to view the live page

This method is perfect when you want to quickly preview how your page looks to visitors while you're making edits.

Method 2: From the Admin Dashboard

If you're in the admin area but not currently editing the specific page:

  1. Navigate to the Pages section in your admin dashboard

  2. Find the page you want to view in your list of pages

  3. Click "Link to public site" - this will automatically open your page in a new browser tab or window

This approach works well when you want to review multiple pages or check on pages you haven't edited recently.

Method 3: From the Public Website

Anyone visiting your school's website can find staff personal pages:

  1. Go to the Staff Directory on your school's public website

  2. Click on any staff member's name

  3. You'll be automatically taken to that person's personal page

This is how parents, students, and community members will typically discover and access staff personal pages when browsing your school website.

Why This Matters

Personal pages help create connections between staff members and the school community. They're an excellent way to share professional backgrounds, classroom information, contact details, and personal interests that help humanize the educational experience.

Each method serves different situations - use the one that fits your current workflow and needs.
