Personal Pages and Posts allow staff members to share updates, announcements, and other content with your school community. This guide shows you two simple ways to access and view these pages.
Method 1: Access from the Admin Area
This method is best for staff members who are already logged into the admin area of your website.
Step 1: Log into your admin account and navigate to your Personal Pages section.
Step 2: Look for and click the "Link to public site" button. This will open your Personal Page and Posts in a new browser tab or window, showing you exactly how visitors to your website will see your content.
This method gives you a quick way to preview your pages while you're working in the admin area.
Method 2: Access from the Public Website
This method works for anyone visiting your school's public website, including staff members who want to view their own or colleagues' posts.
Step 1: Go to your school's public website and locate the Staff Directory.
Step 2: Click on any staff member's name in the directory. This will take you directly to that person's Personal Pages and Posts.
Step 3: To view your own posts using this method, simply find and click on your own name in the Staff Directory.
Understanding What You'll See
When you access Personal Pages and Posts through either method, you'll see:
The staff member's personal page with their information
A list of their recent posts and updates
Any content they've chosen to share with the school community
Both methods will show you the same content - the difference is simply where you start from (admin area vs. public website).
