What are School Calendars? School Calendars are the main calendar feature for displaying school events, activities, and important dates on your website. Your school can have multiple calendars to organize different types of events.
Who can access School Calendars?
Website administrators have full access to all School Calendars
Individual user accounts can be granted access to specific calendars based on their role
Calendar Visibility and Display
Homepage Display Most schools feature their main calendar prominently on the website's homepage, making it easy for visitors to see upcoming events at a glance.
Multiple Calendar Options Many schools use several specialized calendars, such as:
District-wide calendar

These calendars can appear on your homepage and/or on dedicated landing pages for specific departments or activities.
Google Calendar Integration
You can connect your existing Google Calendar to your School Calendar system. This integration allows you to:

Finding and Accessing School Calendars
Step 1: Navigate to Calendars
When you access the Calendars section, it opens directly to School Calendars by default
Step 2: Select Your Calendar Category
Choose the specific calendar category you want to view and manage
Each category represents a different type of calendar (main school calendar, athletics, etc.)

Go to Site Management
Select Settings
On the Settings page, click the Calendars tab
Select the calendar category you want to manage

Modifying Calendar Settings
Once you've selected a calendar category, you can make several adjustments:

Edit the category title - Change how the calendar appears to visitors

Adding a New Calendar
Step 1: Start the Process
Click the Add Calendar button
Step 2: Name Your Calendar
In the Title field, enter a descriptive name for your new calendar
Choose a name that clearly identifies the calendar's purpose (e.g., "Basketball Schedule" or "Fine Arts Events")
Click Save
Step 3: Finalize Your Changes
Click Save in the bottom right corner to save your new calendar
Your new calendar is now ready for event management
