Review news accessibility report

The Accessibility Report Panel

If any accessibility issues have been detected, the accessibility report panel will automatically open and display any issues that need to be resolved. This panel can be found in the editor when creating or editing a news story.

Make sure that each issue has been resolved or use Edlio AI to resolve them automatically. Our AI technology can quickly identify and fix common accessibility issues, saving you time and effort.

Resolving Issues and Publishing the Story

As changes are made to the story to resolve accessibility issues, the page footer will indicate that there are changes since the last report. This serves as a reminder to rerun the accessibility report to ensure all issues have been resolved.

To do this, simply click on the "Rerun accessibility report" button. This will save the news story again and generate a new report. You can continue to do this until all issues have been resolved.

If you are in a hurry and need to publish the story immediately, you can click on the "Publish anyway" button. This will publish the story even if not all accessibility issues have been resolved.

Once all accessibility issues have been resolved or dismissed, the page footer will indicate that no issues have been found. This means your news story is now fully accessible and ready to be published.

Publishing Your Fully Accessible News Story

Congratulations, you have successfully resolved all accessibility issues in your news story! Now it's time to publish it for your audience to see.

Simply click on the "Publish now" button to publish your fully accessible news story. This will ensure that all users, regardless of their abilities, can access and understand your content.
