The Form Widget is a homepage overlay that displays a small contact-collection form (e.g. "Join our newsletter") on top of your homepage content. It's one of two homepage widgets — the other is the Button Widget.
Form Widget vs. Forms: The Form Widget is a homepage-only overlay tied to a Contact List. It is different from full-page forms built in Forms, and different from the page-body Content Block. If you need a full registration form, permission slip, or RSVP, use the Forms feature — not the Form Widget. You can even easily collect payment using Forms w/ Pay!
Drag and place the widget
You can place the widget wherever you want on your homepage.
The placement of the widget on the public website will depend on viewers' screen size. Please avoid placing widgets over each other or in places where they might hide important information on the public website.
Accessibility tip. Overlay widgets can obscure homepage content and create reading-order problems for screen readers. Use Form Widgets sparingly — one per homepage is plenty.
