Redirects Overview

Updated over 2 months ago

What are Redirects?

Redirects allow you to create friendly URLs for your web pages that are easy to read and include descriptive words about your page content. Instead of a complex web address, you can create simple, memorable URLs that make it easier for visitors to find and share your content.

Two Ways to Create Friendly URLs

1. Redirects Feature

Use the main Redirects feature to create and manage multiple friendly URLs across your website.

2. Page Options

Set a friendly URL for a specific individual page by accessing Page Options for that page.

Important: Friendly URLs created through Page Options and the Redirects feature work independently. URLs set in one location will not appear or be saved in the other.

Who Can Access Redirects?

Only website administrators and accounts specifically designated by the website administrator have access to the Redirects feature.

Benefits of Using Friendly URLs

  • Make web addresses easier to remember and share

  • Improve user experience with descriptive URLs
