Add profile pictures

Overview

This guide will show you how to add or update a profile photo for user accounts in Edlio CMS. A professional profile photo helps identify staff members in both the admin area and public staff directory.

Method 1: From the User Profile Page

  1. Navigate to the User Profile page

  2. Go to Actions β†’ Edit Profile Photo or tap the camera icon on the profile photo

  3. Upload a photo:

    1. If the person already has a photo, you can use the trash icon to remove it first

    2. For best results, upload a square image at least 200 px by 200 px

  4. Adjust the crop outline to select which portion of the photo to use

  5. Click Crop & Save to finalize your changes

Method 2: From the User Management Page

  1. Find the staff member you want to add a profile picture to

  2. Tap the placeholder user icon or existing photo next to their name

  3. Upload a photo in the modal that appears

Method 3: Using the Options Menu

You can also access the photo uploader through the options menu:

  1. Find the user in User Management

  2. Click the options menu (three dots)

  3. Select Edit Profile Photo

Tips for Good Profile Photos

  • Use a square image (at least 200 px Γ— 200 px)

  • Choose a clear, professional headshot

  • Ensure good lighting and a neutral background

  • Make sure the person's face is clearly visible
