If you're used to finding Newsletters, Contact Lists, Auto Notices, and Broadcasts under a menu called Mass Communication, you'll now find them under Communications instead.
What changed
The CMS dashboard and hamburger-menu label Mass Communication was renamed to Communications. This is a label change only — none of the underlying tools moved, and nothing about how they work changed.
Communications now groups:
Newsletters — send mass emails to your community
Contact Lists — create and manage groups of contact information
Auto Notices — legacy, being discontinued
Broadcasts / Push & Social — legacy, being discontinued
Mass Communication — a new item that routes you to the separate Mass Communication V3 app, if your school has that feature
Why the rename
The old label caused confusion: the CMS menu was called "Mass Communication," and Edlio's newer standalone product — voice, text, and email — is also called Mass Communication. Renaming the CMS menu to Communications keeps the two clearly separate:
Communications (CMS menu) — Newsletters, Contact Lists, and legacy Broadcasts/Auto Notices tools live here, plus a link out to the app.
Mass Communication (the app) — Edlio's dedicated voice/text/email product, reached through the Mass Communication item inside the Communications menu (or directly, if separately licensed).
